Sri
Lanka’s national cricket team will leave for Australia today for the
Commonwealth triangular which also includes India and the host nation. This
will be the first tour of Mahela Jayawardene who took up the position after
previous captain Tillekaratne Dilshan resigned after the islanders’ tour of
South Africa. Graham Ford commences duties as the national coach after the
sacking of Geoff Marsh.
