1996 World Cup Final - Last few moments

Final few minutes of the 1996 Wills World Cup Final and the celebrations and presentations afterwards. This is one of the greatest moments of Sri Lankan history and even today fills us with emotions. Thought to share this with all the cricket fans because we werent so lucky enough to celebrate a moment like this after 1996 though we got so close on two other occations. 192 against Australia This is one of the best Test innings ever by Sangakkara at Hobart on 20th November 2007. This innings is considered by many as one of the best Test innigs ever where he almost took Sri Lanka to a historic win chasing 507 but it was all ended with an unfortunate umpiring call...

This marvelous effort from Angelo Mathews in the T20 world cup 2009 against West Indies had the umpires and commentators fighting with rule books.




There were no problems with the rules this time around but this was even better against Australia in the 2nd T20 in 2011



Sri Lanka vs England only test at the Oval 1998
The historic test match between Sri Lanka vs England where the young Muttiah Muralitharan destroyed England with 16 wickets for the match. With a great double century from Sanath Jayasuriya and a marvelous century from Aravinda De Silva, Sri Lanka won for the first time in England by 10 wickets



The greatest day of Sri Lanka Cricket
Sri Lanka revolutionised the one-day format with their manic hitting in the first 15 overs, even while chasing, and were deserved winners. Aravinda de Silva produced a stunning all-round performance in the final to overcome Australia. This is where it all started
